Camila Dioses

Camila is passionate about helping teens and young adults navigate life's challenges while building confidence, resilience, and a strong sense of self. With three years of experience working within the Palm Beach County School District, she has supported adolescents in managing the academic, social, emotional, and family-related stressors that often arise during these important developmental years. Camila takes a client-centered, strengths-based, and solution-focused approach to therapy, creating a supportive environment where clients feel empowered to explore their experiences and recognize their own capabilities. Guided by systems theory, she understands that an individual's well-being is influenced by their relationships, family dynamics, environment, and cultural background, and she incorporates these factors into the therapeutic process. She utilizes evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and trauma-informed care to help clients develop meaningful and lasting change. Camila works collaboratively with clients to identify strengths, build healthy coping skills, improve emotional regulation, and develop effective strategies for managing life's challenges. Camila enjoys supporting clients through anxiety, depression, stress, life transitions, communication difficulties, and family-related concerns. Her goal is to help each client feel more confident, connected, and equipped with the tools needed to thrive both in the present and in the future.
